The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and the Rodeo-Hercules Fire Protection District have a long history of working together across our neighboring Districts. Recently, these three local County Fire Districts joined forces to review combining efforts to maintain, protect and enhance local fire protection, emergency medical services, and the fast 911 response times we all rely on – with no impact to or additional costs to taxpayers.

You can find more information about this proposal here. We want to hear from as many community members as possible about their priorities for and questions about this proposal to enhance fire protection, emergency response, and rapid medical response services. As ongoing drought conditions, the threat of wildfire, and an unpredictable climate increase the need to strengthen local fire protection and emergency response, it is important we hear from the community. Thank you and stay safe!
